Creating 10 training films for the German Red Cross’ new e-learning platform was a project of significant impact. These videos will play a critical role in shaping the training standards of lifeguards across Germany for decades to come, setting the foundation for their professional development and life-saving skills.
The production demanded precision and attention to detail, as it involved illustrating complex rescue techniques with clarity and accuracy. The challenge extended underwater, where a significant portion of the exercises were captured by a dedicated underwater cinematographer, ensuring every movement was clearly demonstrated.
With a team of over 20 professionals, including two camera operators (above and below water), and the involvement of more than 10 Red Cross experts, we successfully completed the production over two intensive shoot days. These films not only meet but elevate the educational standards for future lifeguards, paving the way for a safer tomorrow.
